Chickens in coops randomly step on scales while walking around. An RFID tag has been put on their feet. The chickens weight and RFID tag information is logged. The information is sent wirelessly to a computer using zigbee technology. The control center is located on the other side of the chicken coop and is equipped with zigbee converters for data acquisition. Programmable device servers are used to gather data from a bunch of zigbee converters. The latest profile of chickens can be pulled up on computers. The effective distance of the zigbee network is 200 meters. Whenever an obstacle is presented, data can pass it with the zigbee network. Up to 65,535 nodes are allowed into a zigbee network. Zigbee converters are suitable for wireless transmission and industrial control.

ICP DAS honorably introduce you a new intelligent CAN product, I-8120W. There is one CAN port in an I-8120W. Due to the 186 CPU and 8 KB DPRAM inside, combining the WinPAC MCU (main control unit) is not only an economic and high-performance CAN solution, but satisfies the various CAN applications. In order to developing the applications more conveniently and quickly, users can finish their programs based on the default firmware of I-8120W and the model of the demos. Besides, I-8120W also gives the consideration to flexibility and high performance. It allows users to build the proper firmware for their applications via firmware library. This feature is helpful to reducing the CPU loading of the WinPAC MCU, and lets the WinPAC MCU concentrate on the work of flashing HMI and processing IO data. The PCI-1602U/1602FU card is the new generation product that ICP DAS provides to meet RoHS compliance and the new PCI-1602/1602F card is designed as a direct replacement for the PCI-1602/1602F.

PCI-1602U/1602FU is a high performance multifunction card providing high-speed analog I/O and digital I/O functions. The PCI-1602U/1602FU has a universal PCI interface supporting both 3.3 V and 5 V PCI bus, and it features a continuous, 100 k Samples/Sec (200 k Samples/Sec) 16-bit resolution A/D converter, 8 K samples hardware FIFO, a MagicScan controller (for multi-channel scan), 2-ch 16-bit D/A converter, 16-ch digital input and 16-ch digital output. PCI-1602U/1602FU provides either 32-ch single-ended or 16-ch differential analog inputs which are jumper selectable, and a programmable high speed PGA is equipped for gain controls (1, 2, 4 and 8).

The PCI-1602U/1602FU also adds a Card ID switch and pull.-high/ pull-low resisters for DI on board. Users can set Card ID on a board and recognize the board by the ID via software when using two or more PCI-1602U/1602FU cards in one computer. The PISO-P32C32U card is a new generation product with RoHS compliance and is designed to replace PISO-P32C32.

The PISO-P32C32U supports 3.3 V/5 V PCI Bus and provides 32-channel Optically Isolated Digital Input and 32-channel Optically Isolated Digital Open-collector output that are arranged into four isolated banks. Each input channel adopts a photo-coupler input which allows either internal isolated power supply or external power selected by jumper. Each digital output channel offers a Darlington transistor. The power supply of the input port may use the external power or the power from the PC side by using a DC/DC converter. The power supply of the output port requires the external power source. The PISO-P32C32U eliminates ground-loop problems and provides isolation that protects host computer from damaging voltages.

The PISO-P32C32U software is fully compatible with the PISO-P32C32 software. Therefore, the new PISO-P32C32U series card is totally compatible with PISO-P32C32 card and requires no software modification. The PISO-P32C32U supports various OS such as Linux, DOS, Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows NT, Windows XP 32-Bit and Vista 32-Bit. The PIO-D24U/D56U card is the new generation product that ICP DAS provides to meet RoHS compliance and the new PIO-D24U/D56U card is designed as a direct replacement for the PIO-D24/D56.

The PIO-D24U/D56U supports 3.3 V/5 V PCI Bus and provides 24 or 56 TTL digital I/O lines. The PIO-D24 consists of three 8-bit bi-direction ports. PISO-CM100U-D/T provides a universal PCI bus and one CAN port. Industrial PoE Solution

When using PoE devices like the PET-7000, you can choose ICP DAS ¡§PoE¡¨ switch ¡X¡¨NS-205PSE¡¨ as the power source, NS-205PSE automatically detects the connected devices weather they are PoE devices or not. This mechanism ensures NS-205PSE to work with both PoE and non-PoE devices coordinately at the same time.

Being as a power source for PoE devices, NS-205PSE requires its power input ranging from +46VDC to +55VDC.

Extra information for PET-7000

There are two ways for PET-7000 getting the power. One is through Ethernet by a PoE switch; the other is as usual through wiring by an external power. External power should range from +12VDC to +48VDC. The reason we keep the second way is because it might be useful if someday or somehow you have different applications.

There is an LED on PET-7000. The LED indicates whether the power comes from the PoE switch or not.
